'Sharing the Lessons of a Lifetime'

a not-for-profit research & training initiative
Since New Year's Day January 2006, Dr Nick Baylis has been laying the plans for a large-scale, not-for-profit enterprise that has two interwoven dimensions:
Dimension 1:

In-depth exploration into the hows and whys of lives that thrive and flourish… and that do so even in the face of adversity.
When life is going well (physically, psychologically, socially, and in harmony with the environment), this benefits not only the individual, but all those among whom they live and work: their partnerships, their family, their community, their country. So our better understanding of how to promote and foster such beneficial living is the key aim of this research.
Dimension 2:

Immediately using the lessons from Dimension 1 to design ever-more effective Insight & Training Programmes for schools and universities, hospices and hospitals, business and government. These foundation programmes will help these organisations apply the science of well-being in the everyday lives of their people.
Such on-going pilot studies will be evaluated over many years to help guide innovations in as many other institutions as care to incorporate the lessons.
